- ops · Greek · face
The name combines "mojo", an English word for a magic charm or personal charisma, with the Greek words for "horned face". Longrich chose it for the animal's showy, broad frill, which was probably used for display, and which he likened to a kind of charm or sex appeal. The type species is Mojoceratops perifania.

A chasmosaurine ceratopsid. Later work (around 2015–2016) concluded that its fossils belong to Chasmosaurus, so Mojoceratops is generally treated as a junior synonym of Chasmosaurus. Not all researchers may agree on the exact details.
