Nomen dubium
southern horned face
- notos · Greek · south
- keras · Greek · horn

The name combines Greek roots meaning "south", "horn" and "face". It was coined for a fossil from Patagonia that was originally thought to be a southern relative of horned dinosaurs such as Triceratops. The "southern" part refers to its discovery in South America.

Based on very scanty remains (a fragmentary jaw, reportedly now lost). It is generally regarded as a nomen dubium, and its original assignment to the ceratopsians is not accepted. Ceratopsians are otherwise unknown from South America. Details of the age and the exact nature of the material are uncertain, so the stage fields have been left blank.
