A hadrosaurid (duck-billed dinosaur). A 2013 revision (Prieto-Márquez and Wagner) treated it, along with Anasazisaurus, as a junior synonym of Kritosaurus (K. navajovius). Its status has been debated, and some authors have argued it is distinct. The meaning of the Navajo place name is not given here because I am not certain of it.
