Euronychodon
yoo-RON-ih-koh-don /juˌrɒnɪkoʊdɒn/
Nomen dubium
European claw tooth
- Euro- · Greek/Latinised · Europe, European
- onyx · Greek · claw
- odon · Greek · tooth
The name combines "Euro-" (Europe) with "onyx" (claw) and "odon" (tooth). It echoes the older North American tooth genus Paronychodon, whose name means "near claw tooth", because the European teeth resembled that genus. The name was given to small theropod teeth, not to a skeleton.

Known only from isolated teeth, so it is generally regarded as a nomen dubium. It is a small theropod, probably a coelurosaur such as a troodontid, but its exact relationships are uncertain. Some details, such as the exact stages and the etymology wording, are given from memory, so treat them with caution.
