Teihivenator
tay-ee-ven-AY-tor /ˌteɪ.iːvɛnˈeɪtər/
Accepted genus
probably "Tagus hunter" (first element unverified)
- Teihi · uncertain · probably a reference to the Tagus (Tejo) river region of Portugal (unverified)
- venator · Latin · hunter
The second half of the name is the Latin "venator", meaning "hunter", a common ending for predatory theropod names. My recollection is that the first half, "Teihi", refers to an old name for the Tagus (Tejo) river in Portugal, which would make the name roughly "Tagus hunter". I'm not certain of that derivation.

A theropod, I believe a megalosaurid, with the type species Teihivenator macropterygius. I'm recalling this from memory. I'm not fully sure of the author, year, classification or etymology, so please check them against the original description.
