Nomen dubium
Arkhara ravine (lizard)
- Arkhara · Russian/Toponymic · Arkhara (a river and district in the Amur region of Russia)
- -avia · Russian · ravine or gully (from Russian 'овраг', ovrag, or used as a place-name suffix)
Arkharavia is named after the Arkhara district and the Arkhara River in the Amur Oblast of the Russian Far East, where the fossil material was discovered. The suffix '-avia' references the locality more specifically, alluding to the ravine or gully setting of the find site. The name essentially means "from the Arkhara (ravine/locality)." It honours the geographic origin of the specimen in the Russian Far East.

Arkharavia is a hadrosaur (hadrosaurid dinosaur) from the Late Cretaceous of the Russian Far East. It is based on fragmentary material (vertebrae) from the Udurchukan Formation, Amur Oblast. It is generally considered a nomen dubium because the material is too incomplete to confidently diagnose a distinct genus. Some researchers have suggested it may be referrable to Amurosaurus or a closely related hadrosaur, but no formal synonymy has been universally accepted.
