A spinosaurid theropod. Many researchers regard Angaturama limai as a junior synonym of Irritator challengeri (named in 1996 by Martill et al.), since both come from the same formation and may be the same animal. Some researchers still treat it as a separate genus. The etymology details are given with moderate confidence.
